RAMNAGAR ATUL VIDYALAYA has a rich and illustrious history dating back to its establishment in 1917 by Babu Atul Chandra Batyabal, with a noble vision to educate the impoverished villagers during the British Raj era. Originally founded as a Junior Basic School, it embarked on a journey of growth and excellence, becoming a pioneering institution in the realm of education.

Over the decades, RAMNAGAR ATUL VIDYALAYA evolved and expanded, adapting to the changing educational landscape. In a significant milestone, the school attained secondary recognition, marking a new chapter in its educational journey. This recognition propelled the institution towards further advancements, laying the foundation for its transformation into a comprehensive High School.

In the year 2010, a pivotal moment in its history occurred as RAMNAGAR ATUL VIDYALAYA was upgraded to a Higher Secondary School, offering streams in Science and Arts. This expansion broadened the horizons of educational opportunities for its students, enabling them to pursue diverse academic paths.

Continuing its commitment to academic excellence and holistic development, the school has recently introduced the Commerce stream, further enriching its curriculum and catering to the evolving needs of its students.
